Doyin Okupe, senior special assistant to the president on public affairs, has alleged that the “original” leaders of the All Progressive Congress (APC) are mainly “thieves”.
Okupe took to his social media accounts to lash out at the opposition party.
“APC is a strange party with a strange mission,” he wrote on his Facebook wall.
“Its original leaders are mainly thieves while virtually all its new leaders are PDP renegades.

“What type of change can come from these incompatible, inconsistent, armophous, lie-dependent mixed grill? Nineteen out of 36 gubernatorial candidates are former PDP stalwarts. So this change is from APC to fake PDP.”
Okupe canvassed support for the ruling party in the general election, saying: “Nigerians, stay with the winners. Stay with the PDP. Forty million voters cannot be wrong.”
