Day ten at the ongoing 12th All Africa Games in Rabat, Morocco, saw team Nigeria claim its second gold medal.
Adenike Olarinoye outlifted fellow compatriot, Chika Amalaha, in the women’s 55kg weightlifting to win the gold with a lift of 209kg.
Amalaha won the silver with a lift of 208kg.
First day in the Track and Field event saw Grace Anigbata clinching the gold medal in the triple jump with a mark of 13.75m.

Dotun Ogundeji won silver medal in discus.
In the women’s 100 meters semi-final heat 1 race, Blessing Okagbare was disqualified for a false start.
Okagbare’s hope of clinching her first-ever All Africa Games gold in her fourth appearance in the women’s 100m went up in smoke with her disqualification on Monday.

Joy Udo-Gabriel clocked 11.47 seconds to win the heat 3 of the women’s 100m semi-final race ahead of South Africa’s Mamathu Tebogo (11.63s).
Meanwhile, Itsekiri Usheoritse Ese and Ekevwo Raymond qualified to be in the final of the men’s 100 meters.
Abejoye Oyeniyi will be competing in the men’s 110m Hurdles after finishing 3rd clocking a time of 13.93 seconds in heat 1 of the semi-final.
Team Nigeria are in sixth position in the medals table with five gold five silver and eight bronze medals.
