At least 15 people have been killed and 10 injured in a road accident along Chiromawa village in Garun Mallam LGA Of Kano state.
According to Zagazola Makama, a counter-insurgency publication focused on the Lake Chad region, the accident occurred at about 3:20pm on April 3.
The accident involved a white Toyota Liteace bus with registration number NSR 188 KP, carrying 25 passengers, and a blue Daf trailer with registration number KMC 158 XW, which was parked by the roadside.
Intelligence sources told the publication that the bus driver, whose identity is yet to be determined, lost control and rammed into the stationary trailer from the rear.

As a result, all passengers sustained various degrees of injuries.
Emergency responders rushed the victims to Kura General Hospital, where the bus driver and 14 passengers were confirmed dead, while the remaining 10 passengers are receiving treatment.
Days ago, nine persons lost their lives and 11 others were injured in a car accident along the Malumfashi-Kafur road in Katsina state.

Aliyu Ma’aji, Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) sector commander, said the accident involved a Hummer bus conveying 20 people.
He added that the accident was caused by overspeeding on the part of the driver.
