2 female bombers ‘kill 30’ at Adamawa park

Less than 12 hours after 20 people were killed at a moque in Maiduguri, Boko Haram has struck again at Madagali, a town in Adamawa state, killing “at least 30 people”, according to a source.

Haman Furo, executive secretary of Adamawa State Emergency Management Agency (ADSEMA), confirmed the attack, but said he didn’t have the casualty figures yet.

“We will get that across as soon as we have the situation under control,” he said.

Victor Ezugwu, a brigadier-general and brigade commander, 28 Task Force Brigade, Mubi, confirmed to NAN that two female suicide bombers detonated explosives in Madagali.
