US President Donald Trump has taunted his North Korean counterpart, Kim Jong-un, by saying he “would never call him short and fat”.
Trump said this in response to the description of him as a “lunatic old man” by the North Korea leader.
“Why would Kim Jong-un insult me by calling me “old,” when I would NEVER call him “short and fat?” Oh well, I try so hard to be his friend – and maybe someday that will happen,” the US President wrote on Twitter.

Trump and Kim have exchanged series of insults in recent time.

Kim called the American president “a dotard” in September while Tump continues to describe the North Korean leader as a “little rocket man”.
Speaking on Friday in Vietnam, Trump again criticised North Korea’s “twisted fantasies of violent conquest and nuclear blackmail”.
Addressing Kim, the US President said: “The weapons you are acquiring are not making you safer. They are putting your regime in grave danger. Every step you take down this dark path increases the peril you face.
“North Korea is not the paradise your grandfather envisioned, he said of the nation’s founder Kim Il-sung. ‘It is a hell that no person deserves.”
