It is the second time in two weeks that insurgents will be attacking a military position in a neigbhouring country.

On July 24, Boko Haram insurgents overran an army base in Cameroon’s far north region, killing seven soldiers and wounding several others.

The insurgents, some of whom wore military camouflage, arrived in a convoy of six vehicles.

After several hours of fighting, the commander of the base was killed alongside six of his colleagues.
