Thirteen people who sustained injuries from the multiple blasts in the federal capital territory have been treated and discharged from the hospital, according to the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA).

Ishaya Chonoko, coordinator of NEMA, Abuja operations, disclosed this to NAN on Monday, saying 26 victims were being treated in various hospitals within the city.

Chonoko said there were no fresh cases of injury or death.

Twenty persons were injured in Kuje and 19 in Nyanya in the incidents, which occurred on October 2.

Chonoko said the agency had no report on any hospital that had refused to treat the victims and requested that names of the hospitals in that category should be forwarded to the agency for appropriate action.

“We have not had such cases and any one with facts should come forward and the agency will take appropriate action,” he said.

According to NAN, 20 persons lost their lives during the first Boko Haram attack in the Nigerian capital since the emergence of President Muhammadu Buhari.
