Kenyan interior ministry on Monday said the police have arrested 379 herdsmen in connection with ranch invasions following the murder of Tristan Voorspuy, a British rancher.
Voorspuy was killed on his ranch in Northern Laikipia region on Sunday.
In a statement, the Kenya Tourism Board and the Kenya Tourism Federation said 24,000-acre ranch was dedicated to cattle and tourism.
The murder of Voorspuy followed those of about 10 other people during raids on ranches in the area in recent months.

The ranches are believed to be targeted by nomadic herders seeking pasture for their hungry livestock in the drought-stricken area.
The attacks have raised concern that they could undermine tourism in Laikipia county, where wildlife sanctuaries and tourist lodges draw 86,000 visitors annually, according to official figures.
“The government has deployed additional security personnel to flush out illegal grazers and to recover cattle they have stolen,” the ministry said.
