A female suicide bomber killed five persons in the Madagali local government area of Adamawa state on Friday morning.
Haruna Furo, executive secretary of the Adamawa State Emergency Management Agency (ADSEMA), confirmed the attack, placing the death toll at five, including the attacker.
Furo said the incident occurred around the time a bomb went off at an internally displaced persons camp in Malkohi, also in Adamawa.
Seven children were killed, while many sustained injuries in the attack at Malkohi camp.
