Abel Izang, chairman of the medical advisory committee (CMAC), Plateau Specialist Hospital, says 81 among the victims of the school building that collapsed in Jos have been discharged from the health facility.
On Friday, a two-storey building of Saint Academy, a primary and secondary school, collapsed while students were writing the third-term examinations.
NAN reports that Izang confirmed that out 23 out of 39 victims hospitalised on Friday, have been discharged from the facility.
He said two others who sustained spinal cord injuries have been referred to the Jos University Teaching Hospital (JUTH).

Izang said there are still five patients on admission but are in stable condition.
Also, Steve Anzaku, chief medical director (CMD) of Bingham University Teaching Hospital, said 23 among the 55 persons hospitalised at the facility have been discharged.
Anzaku said others on admission are all in a stable condition.

Chioma Ofodille, spokesperson of Our Lady of Apostles (OLA) Hospital, said 23 out of the 32 victims admitted at the facility had been discharged.
Ofodille said the remaining nine on admission are also in a stable condition.
On his part, Josiah Njem, chairman of the medical advisory committee (CMAC) of JUTH, said six victims hospitalised at the facility are in a stable condition.
Earlier on Saturday, Caleb Mutfwang, governor of Plateau, directed that the Saint Academy school be shut down over the building collapse which left over 22 dead and 132 injured.
