The 21 Chibok girls released by Boko Haram in October 2016 have reunited with 82 of their colleagues released on May 5.
According to Channels TV, the girls met today in Abuja where they have been kept since their release.
Both batches were freed from Boko Haram custody after series of negotiations between the sect and the federal government.
Part of the negotiations included a swap deal which led to release of some detained Boko Haram members.

The young ladies met shortly after the parents of the recently freed 82 arrived Abuja to meet with them.
It was the first time the parents were meeting them since their release.
Their pictures had been sent to Chibok community for identification after their release.

President Muhammadu Buhari had met with them just before he travelled to the UK for his medical vacation.
Jumai Alhassan, minister of women affairs and social development, had earlier promised that the parents of the girls would be allowed to see them in due course.
113 of the abducted schoolgirls are still in Boko Haram custody. A total of 276 were kidnapped from their school in Chibok, Borno state, in April 2014.

This is a wonderful story. Nigeria is beginning to experience good things in Buharis leadership. I pray for his quick recovery and strength to carry on with his duty for Nigeria
