Nigerians have taken to social media to express sadness over the news of the crash involving a military aircraft of the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) with Ibrahim Attahiru, chief of army staff, on board.
Attahiru and 11 other officers were said to be on board the aircraft that crashed around the Kaduna international airport on Friday evening.
The latest incident is the third crash over the past three months, involving a military aircraft.
While some persons described the incident as a major loss to the country, others called for proper investigation into the incident.
