AAG: Dream Team beat Ghana

Nigeria’s U-23 football team, the Dream Team, defeated Ghana’s U-23 team 2-0 in their first game of the football event of the 2015 All-Africa Games (AAG) in Congo on Wednesday.

Junior Ajayi opened scoring for the Samson Siasia-led side in the 55th minute and Kingsley Sokari made it two three minutes to the end of the match.

Daniel Etor found Oghenekaro Etebo in the area but the striker failed to beat the keeper with a header.

Aminu Umar was denied a chance of increasing the tally as the opponent’s defence were alert to his threat and cleared the ball to safety.
