Abba Yusuf, governor of Kano, says his administration has established the Kano integrated governance accountability system for the award of contracts by civil servants and LGA chairpersons.
Yusuf spoke on Tuesday during the International Anti-corruption and Human Rights Day symposium in Kano.
The symposium was organised by the Kano State Public Complaint and Anti-Corruption Commission (PCACC) in collaboration with the International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance (IDEA) and Rule of Law and Anti-Corruption (RoLAC).
Yusuf said the e-portal will ensure transparency in government expenditure and promote good governance.
