The abducted sister of Diezani Alison-Madueke, Nigeria’s minister of petroleum resources (pictured), has been released.
Osio Agama was abducted in Port Harcourt, Rivers state capital as she made to enter her car last week Tuesday.
She was released on Wednesday night in a joint operation by the police, military and State Security Service (SSS), assisted by members of the Ijaw Youth Council.
Eric Omare, spokesman of Ijaw Youth Council, said the group provided security operatives with vital information that facilitated the release of Agama.
