Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) were defeated 73-53 by Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) in their second game at the ongoing African Women’s Basketball League (AWBL).
The Kenyans recovered from a subpar first quarter to beat NCS at the Sporting Club Alexandria, Egypt, on Wednesday.
Nigeria Customs defeated Cameroon’s Universite de Douala 57-46 in the competition’s opening game on Monday.
However, the team failed to reproduce the dominant performance against KPA despite racing to an early 18-17 lead in the first quarter.

Nigeria Customs only managed eight points in the quarter as KPA overtook them and established a 19-point gap at halftime.
NCS struggled to close the gap in the third quarter as the game skidded away from them with the scoreline at 62-41.
