Adeyanju dumps ‘Our Mumu Don Do’ movement, accuses Charly Boy of betrayal

Deji Adeyanju, human rights activist, has resigned his membership of “Our Mumu Don Do” movement following claims of betrayal from Charly Boy, his partner and the group’s convener.

The former social media strategist of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who was recently released from prison after spending close to 78 days, took to his social media page on Wednesday to announce his resignation from the group.

Adeyanju alleged that Charly Boy betrayed the cause of the group while he was locked up for over two months in prison.

“Dear Nigerians, I have resigned my membership of Our Mumu Don Do. I no longer have confidence in the leader of the movement, Charly Boy. He betrayed the cause while I was away in prison and compromised with the oppressors. Thank you,” he tweeted.

The politician turned activist also wondered why a group that speaks up “against politicians, then turn out to be worse than them?”

“Our Mumu Don Do” movement is a coalition of concerned Nigerians who fight against corruption and injustice in the public offices.
