Gernot Rohr has called up Henry Onyekuru as a replacement for injured Odion Ighalo ahead of Nigeria’s Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualification game against South Africa.
The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) disclosed this on its Twitter handle on Thursday.

Onyekuru returned to action last weekend for his Turkish club, Galatasaray, after picking up an injury in Nigeria’s last qualifying fixture in October against Libya.

He was in action in Galatasaray’s 2-0 loss to German club, Schalke 04, in a UEFA Champions League clash on Tuesday.
Super Eagles top Group E with nine points, one more than Bafana Bafana who sit in second place.
Libya occupy third position with four points, while Seychelles have one point.
The Super Eagles will take on the Bafana Bafana at the FNB Stadium in Johannesburg on November 17.
