Super Eagles of Nigeria have sent a promissory message to their fans that the team will not disappoint at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.
The three-time African champions lost 1-0 to the Terenga Lions of Senegal in their final preparation ahead of the 32nd Afcon starting on Friday.
The Gernot Rohr’s side will leave Ismailia on Monday afternoon for Alexandria where the team will tackle Burundi, Guinea, and Madagascar in group B.
Some Nigeria fans who live in Cairo were in Ismailia for the Eagles pre-Afcon friendly match against Senegal on Sunday and are also expected to back their team throughout the African football showpiece kicks off in Alexandria on Saturday, June 22.

The team made this promise to their fans through a post on the Super Eagles official Twitter handle on Monday.
