The general commission of the Africa Road Builders–Trophee Babacar NDIAYE has appointed Global Citirep Communications, an integrated marketing communications agency, to secure partners across Nigeria for the commission’s upcoming conference.

As part of efforts to attract quality participation, the initiative will focus on engaging Nigerian stakeholders for the 10th edition of the Africa Road Builders conference.

In a statement by Global Citirep on Wednesday, the 10th edition will feature two major events, starting with an inaugural conference in April in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), themed ‘Transport in Africa: Services and Development’.

Subsequently, the second and final conference will take place in May in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, alongside the African Development Bank’s (AfDB) annual meetings.

In a letter of mandate, the commission assigned Global Citirep Communications the responsibility of identifying and registering participants, while also collecting participation fees for the upcoming events.

The mandate, signed by Barthélemy Kouamé, general commissioner of the Africa Road Builders–Trophee Babacar NDIAYE, officially designated Hakeem Bello, chief executive officer (CEO) of Global Citirep Communications, to lead the efforts.

Confirming his appointment, Bello said the high-level event will promote Africa’s road and transport infrastructure development, reflecting the organisers’ commitment to sustainable and inclusive growth.

“This edition focuses on transport services as a driver of economic and social development in Africa,” Bello said.

“It explores topics ranging from accessibility to transport provision, including financing, market management, and transport policy administration.

“Like other developmental global platforms, the event aims at enhancing visibility and reputation, both as an individual delegate and as an entity operating in the mentioned fields.

“Regardless of your participation level, you are invited to share your ideas and experiences during presentations and ongoing discussions throughout the event.”

‘UAE CONFERENCE REGISTRATION GUARANTEES ABIDJAN ATTENDANCE’

Global Citirep said participants who register for the Africa Road Builders conference in the UAE will automatically qualify to attend the subsequent conference in Abidjan.
