Nigeria’s male basketball national team, D’Tigers, defeated Cameroon to qualify for the semi-final of the 2017 FIBA Afrobasket championship in Tunisia.
The reigning champions won three of the four quarters but lost the last.
In the first quarter, D’Tigers won 25 to 18, and also edged the Cameroonian side 27 to 25 in the second quarter but fell 23 to 27 in the third quarter.
The Nigerian side rallied back to post a 31-21 win in the fourth quarter. The game ended on 106 to 91 points.

The African champions will face the winner between Senegal and Angola, who will slug it out later Thursday.
The semi-final game is scheduled for Friday.
