After two years, T.W.O returns with two singles

After keeping their fans waiting for two years, Nigerian singing couple, Tunde and Wunmi Obe (popularly known as T.W.O) are set to release two new singles in June.

The couple, who met 25 years ago, started as lead singers in a campus band, Turning Point, in the 80’s. But they got popular nationwide with their weekly television slots on The Charley Boy Show and Zoom Time.

The last 25 years of their highly-successful career has seen them release 5 phenomenal albums and numerous chart-topping singles, such as Fine BaraAdupe, Mogbomoya, Zombie, and many more.

“With the state of the nation, we just decided that it’s time to lend our voices as the oldest existing group to the gospel of peace, safety and oneness,” said Tunde Obe.

Both singles are to be released on June 1, 2014.

“We hope to excite existing T.W.O fans and attract new ones with the type of songs T.W.O is known for,” added Wunmi Obe.
