Ahmed Musa can’t stop scoring

Ahmed Musa continued his rich vein of goal-scoring form with a brace for CSKA Moscow in their 6-0 win against Kuban Krasnodar in a Russian Premier League match played at Arena Khimki on Saturday.

Musa, who scored two goals in Super Eagles’ 3-1 defeat of Sudan in Abuja on Wednesday, took just 13 minutes to put his Russian side ahead from a Roman Eremenko assist.

Eremenko soon doubled the lead for CSKA in the 17th minute.

The creative Finnish midfielder, who joined from Rubin Kazan in August 2014, is an infrequent scorer but he took his chance calmly, slotting home off an assist from Georgi Milanov.

Moldovan 27-year-old defender, Igor Armas, scored an own goal in the 69th minute to compound the woes of the visitors.

A minute later, Musa was not to be denied, as he scored his second goal, CSKA’s fourth.

Former Ivory Coast international, Seydou Doumbia, completed the rout with two late goals.
