David Anyaele, special assistant on Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) to Alex Otti, governor of Abia state, has commended the National Orientation Agency (NOA) for its inclusive programmes.
He made the commendation on Wednesday when the Abia state NOA directorate paid him a courtesy visit in Umuahia.
He said inclusivity for PWDs would make them benefit more from programmes and initiatives.
Anyaele who said he worked closely with NOA as an activist, referred to the agency as the highest vehicle for information dissemination in Nigeria.

He said peace is important for PWDs because “where there is no peace, it causes more disabilities”.
“Building the capacity and capabilities of PWDs to understand peace and be able to speak to their stakeholders is another way of saying that the campaign for building a people of peace will be sustained,” he said.
Anyaele added that the governor will support every effort aimed at enthroning peace, and enjoined residents to avoid misinformation and disinformation.
