Some Super Eagles players have made our team of the week due to their outstanding performances in a weekend that was met with high drama and fabulous goals across the globe.

Here are the top performers who made TheCable’s team of the week:

Austin Ejide – Hapoel Hadera

He was very outstanding for Hapoel Hadera. Ejide made countless saves on Saturday to prevent Ashdod from scoring at the Yud-Alef Stadium (Ašdod (Ashdod)).

Ola Aina – Torino

Since his move to Torino, Ola Aina has been unstoppable. He played at wing back for Torino against Hellas Verona.

Semi Ajayi – West Brom

The lanky defender put up a commendable performance for West Brom in the win at Birmingham City.

Stephen Eze – Lokomotiv Plovdiv

A mountainous display by Eze helped 10-man Lokomotiv Plovdiv pick up a 0-0 draw against Levski Sofia. His recall to the Super Eagles is also on the cards.

Jamilu Collins – Paderborn

Despite a surprising 1-1 draw with Norwich City, Brendan Rodgers tutored side had one positive performer and it was the Super Eagles midfielder.
