Aiyedatiwa approves appointment of Bayo Philip as Ondo acting head of service 

Lucky Aiyedatiwa, governor of Ondo, has approved the appointment of Bayo Philip as the acting head of civil service in the state. 

According to a statement by Ebenezer Adeniyan, chief press secretary to the governor, the development follows the retirement of Kayode Ogundele, the incumbent head of service.

The governor appreciates Ogundele for his service to the state and wished him the best in his future endeavours.

On February 2, the Ondo governor appointed Olugbenga Omole as special adviser on information and strategy; Olamide Falana as special adviser on gender affairs; and Alabi Johnson as special adviser on energy.

The governor also forwarded the names of six commissioner nominees to the state house of assembly for screening and confirmation.

Five of the six nominees were confirmed by the state house of assembly.
