Lucky Aiyedatiwa, the governor of Ondo state, has charged newly appointed members of his cabinet to prioritise efficiency and deliver results swiftly.

Speaking at their swearing-in ceremony on Thursday, Aiyedatiwa emphasised that his administration is focused on “speed and accuracy” in governance.

He urged the officials to align with ‘OUR EASE’, his seven-point developmental agenda designed to accelerate the state’s growth.

The new appointees include Taiwo Fasoranti as secretary to the state government, Olukayode Ajulo as attorney-general and commissioner for justice.

Omowumi Isaac as commissioner for finance, Johnson Alabi as special adviser on power, and Seun Osamaye as special adviser on women affairs.

Bola Taiwo will serve as special adviser on union matters and special duties, Simidele Odimayo as special adviser on health, and Abiola Olawoye as special adviser on infrastructure, lands, and housing.

He urged the appointees to embrace teamwork and collaborate effectively with career officers, permanent secretaries, and accounting officers in their various ministries, departments, and agencies (MDAs).

“We demand excellent performance from all appointees, for that is the primary reason we were voted into office by the good people of Ondo State,” the governor said.

The cabinet inauguration was attended by the Olayide Adelami, the deputy governor; Segun Omojuwa, chief of staff; Bayo Philip, head of service, and Olusegun Odusola, chief judge of Ondo state, who was represented by Adegboyega Adebusoye.
