Ajiboye Omodewu
Ajiboye Omodewu, the chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo state, is dead.
Omodewu died in the United States. He reportedly left Nigeria in November 2023 for treatment of an undisclosed ailment.
Olawale Sadare, Oyo APC publicity secretary, confirmed the politician’s death to TheCable.
In 2021, Omodewu was elected chairman of Oyo APC.

He was the commissioner of lands, housing, survey and urban development in the administration of Abiola Ajimobi, former governor of Oyo.
Omodewu was born on April 16, 1963 in Otu, Itesiwaju LGA of Oyo state.
He had his secondary education at Baptist Modern School, Otu, and Ansar-u-deen High School, Saki.

He obtained his A-level certificate in accounting at the Yaba College of Technology and earned a B.Sc in accounting at the City University of New York.
