Al Ahly-bound Ebimobowei makes ‘biggest career move’

Peter Ebimobowei is proud to have completed “the biggest move of my career” after signing for Egyptian giants and eight times CAF Champions League winners Al Ahly.

The forward, who scored 18 goals for Bayelsa United to finish as third best scorer in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL), signed a three-year contract with the club.

“This is the biggest move of my career. I must confess it was a tense period for me,” he told supersport.com.

“Everything has happened suddenly and I’m excited to be at one of the biggest clubs in the world. Ahly’s history and tradition were enough to convince me.”
