A passenger plane carrying 62 people has crashed on the outskirts of São Paulo, Brazil, killing all aboard.
The plane was carrying 58 passengers and four crew members at the time of the crash on Friday, according to a statement by Voepass airline.
Footage on social media showed the plane losing balance before spiraling down into a crash.
Brazil’s civil defense said the aircraft crashed into multiple houses.

Authorities said only one home was damaged when the plane crashed, noting that no resident was injured.
More videos showed the aircraft in flames after it came down as thick smoke billowed into the air.
The airline has yet to confirm the cause of the crash.

President Luiz Lula da Silva described the news as “very sad” and extended his solidarity to the families and friends of the victims.
The Brazilian Air Force said it has sent a team of investigators to the site.
