The 1998 alumni of the Navy Secondary School hosted an award ceremony to recognise outstanding performance in key subjects.
The prize-giving ceremony was held on July 20 to celebrate the graduating students of the school’s 2023/2024 class.
At the Navy Town Barracks in Ojo Lagos, the event recognised achievements in subjects like mathematics, biology, physics, and chemistry.
Among those who were present at the ceremony were the school commandant, the principal, the vice principal, teachers, proud parents, and guests.

Oluwatobi Oluremi-Judah, head of the alumni association, was represented by Kenneth Ehirim and Dele Olayiwola.
Speaking on Oluremi-Judah’s behalf, Olayiwola said celebrating academic excellence is an integral part of education that should be valued by society.
“The importance of recognizing academic excellence following hard work and dedication is a key feature of the academic calendar,” he said.

The Navy Secondary School in Ojo Lagos was founded in January 1982 with naval officers for management.
