Celtic skipper, Scott Brown, and his World Cup bound teammate, Efe Ambrose, will go head-to-head when Scotland take on Nigeria in London on Wednesday at Fulham’s ground, Craven Cottage.
Brown is relishing the chance to be involved for Gordon Strachan’s in-form side and he feels how they fare against a World Cup participant will be a good indicator as to how far they have progressed as a team.
“I’ve been having some banter with Efe, and it will be good to see him as we have had 10 or 12 days off since the end of the season,” the midfielder told Celtic View.
“I might just play against him and get a bit of banter from him and see what he gives me! But it will be good to get a game for Scotland, as it’s a while since I’ve played for my country and to get a team like Nigeria is great.

“They will be going to the World Cup and getting ready for it, while we want to see how good we are, as we’ve had some great results lately and we want to continue that.”
Ambrose has become an integral member of the Super Eagles, helping them win the Africa Cup of Nations last year. This will be his first World Cup.
