Amosun: Prayers are answered faster in Ogun than in any state

Ibikunle Amosun, governor of Ogun state, says of the 36 states in the country, Ogun is the place where prayers are quickly answered.

Speaking on Wednesday at investors forum in Abeokuta, Amosun said the development was responsible for the abundance of religious bodies in the state.

“When people call me to say Ogun state is outperforming national indices, they don’t know the reason,” he said.

“The reason is that this is the religious capital of Africa, not anywhere so prayers are answered faster in Ogun than any other state.

“We are happy that many religious bodies are using our state. They have adopted Ogun because they know God answers prayers better than any other state.”

While giving the closing remarks at the forum, the governor expressed the readiness of his government to improve the state of infrastructure in the state.

“You have seen the little effort we made on our roads, we will continue, we are not going to drop the ball,” he said.

“We are not looking at roads that will be bad in five years, we want roads that will still be strong 50 years down the line.”
