World Athletics (WA) has included Tobi Amusan in its official list of athletes billed to compete at the 2023 World Athletics Championships in Budapest.
The official list was published on its website on Thursday.
Amusan was named in the registry of more than 2100 athletes competing at the event.
However, her name was accompanied by the caveat that her participation is based on the ruling on the case with the Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU).

The inclusion of the 26-year-old comes a few days after her name was excluded from the 26-member Team Nigeria list submitted by the Athletics Federation of Nigeria (AFN) for the competition.
Amusan’s exclusion may not be unconnected to her alleged doping scandal case.

In July, TheCable reported that AIU handed Amusan a provisional suspension for allegedly “missing three tests in 12 months”.
The world champion, however, denied the allegation and vowed to challenge the charges.
The anti-doping body said Amusan’s charges would be heard by the disciplinary tribunal and determined before the World Athletics Championships, billed to start on August 19.
The 2023 World Athletics Championship is scheduled to hold from August 19 to 27.
