Anambra commissioner kidnapped during attack on Soludo regains freedom

Emeka Ezenwanne, the commissioner for public utilities in Anambra state, has been released by his kidnappers.

Ezenwanne was abducted on Wednesday when gunmen attacked Charles Soludo, former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), while meeting with youths in Aguata LGA of the state.

Three police officers providing security for him were killed in the attack, but Soludo managed to escape.

The abducted commissioner was released Sunday morning after four days in the custody of the kidnappers.
