The Palancas Negras of Angola held Nigeria to a 1-1 draw in a CHAN 2016 warm up friendly played in South Africa on Wednesday.
The Coach Sunday Oliseh-led side failed to break through the defence of their opponents in the first 45 minutes, ending the half goalless.
The Angolans, who also will be taking part in the African Nations Championship, gave away the opportunity to lead the game with a penalty miss late in the first half.
Nigerian goalkeeper, Odah was on hand to stop them from scoring early into the second half with a superb save to keep them level on scores.

The Super Eagles team B however, broke the deadlock in the 84th minute when sand eagles player, Bartholomew Ibenegbu, converted a spot-kick following the felling of Salawu in the Angolan half.
Ibenegbu, popularly known as Mosquito, looked set to be the match winner for Nigeria before the setback from the Angolans via a corner kick exactly four minutes later.
Wednesday’s game at the grounds of the University of Pretoria football club is one of two friendlies planned for the CHAN 2016 Rwanda-bound Eagles.
