The Alliance for New Nigeria (ANN), one of the newly registered political parties, has inaugurated its board of trustees, (BoT) ahead of the 2019 general election.
Daura Abdul-Nasser, interim national secretary of the party, in a statement said the composition and inauguration of board came after the inaugural meeting of the BoT, held at the party secretariat.
According to the statement, the BoT recommended that interim national executive council (NEC) of the party be dissolved and a caretaker committee set up to lead the party to its national convention.
The statement added that the date for the national convention would be announced “in a few days”.
