Annie Idibia, actress and former model, and Innocent Ujah Idibia, Nigerian musician and entreprenuer popularly known as Tuface or 2baba, have in the last 24 hours secured individual endorsement deals.
Tuface announced his endorsement deal with Campari, an alcoholic beverage, on Wednesday at the 2016 Nigerian Entertainment Conference.
In a post on her Instagram page, Annie Idibia announced her endorsement seal with SlimTea, a weight loss beverage.
Although the details of the contract were not shared, the couple expressed their excitement and commitment to their respective brands.
While speaking to journalists, the 42-year-old actor described his connection to the brand.
“I feel honoured and gives me a great sense of responsibility because I have to present a good and responsible image of the brand.
“I am very connected to the brand. I have been a Campari fan for a long time and when the offer came, I accepted it because the company is reputable and responsible.
“I enjoy taking the drink. It took only a month for me to consider and accept the offer.”
On her part, Annie Idibia shared pictures and described the endorsement deals as double blessings.
“I just became an ambassador for SlimTeaNigeria.
“I’m so excited to be a part of the SlimTea weight loss movement, and a member of the SlimTea Family.”
The mother of two joins Ini Edo, Nollywood actress and Akwa Ibom state commissioner for culture and tourism, as ambassador of the weight loss tea.
