Anti-internet Prince joins Instagram, posts 88 pictures

Anti-internet Grammy award-winning act, Prince Roger Nelson, best known as Prince, finally joined Instagram against popular expectation, posting 88 pictures in less than 24 hours.

Five years ago, Prince declared the Internet was “completely over,” adding the internet, like MTV, was obsolete.

“The internet’s completely over. I don’t see why I should give my new music to iTunes or anyone else,” he told Daily Mirror in an interview in July, 2010.

“They won’t pay me an advance for it and then they get angry when they can’t get it. The Internet’s like MTV. At one time MTV was hip and suddenly it became outdated.

“Anyway, all these computers and digital gadgets are no good. They just fill your head with numbers and that can’t be good for you.”

The 57-year-old seems to have suddenly eaten his words, as he voraciously displays himself in many Instagram pictures.

On one of his Instagram posts, the multi-talented artiste, wrote “Welcome to Princestagram”, sharing a musical tune and his desktop screen with fans across the world.
