Bola Tinubu, standard bearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC), is reportedly billed to speak at Chatham House, the United Kingdom’s foreign and policy think-tank institution.

In a series of tweets on Monday, the APC presidential campaign council said Tinubu would depart the country on December 4.

It said apart from the UK, the former governor of Lagos and his team are expected to visit the US, France, and some other countries in Europe where Tinubu intends to pitch his presidential bid to world leaders.

“Asiwaju Tinubu will embark on foreign trip to meet global leaders and influencers,” the APC campaign tweeted.

“Western powers are still very influential on elections in Africa and they have more than passing interest in Nigeria’s election as the largest economy in the continent and biggest black nation on earth.

“Asiwaju will use the opportunity of this trip to sell his agenda for national development and also solicit the support of the Western leaders for our transition programme.”

Tinubu is expected back in the country on December 12.
