APC chieftain asks Gufwan to prioritise needs of PWDs

Tolu Bankole, the All Progressives Congress (APC) national leader of persons with disabilities, has congratulated Ayuba Gufwan on his appointment as executive secretary of the National Commission for Persons with Disabilities (NCPWD).

Bankole said he will support Gufwan to ensure the needs of PWDs are taken care of.

He said the new NCPWD boss possesses considerable experience as the executive director of Beautiful Gate Handicapped People Centre in Jos, with a bachelors degree in law (LLB).

“Your leadership has been instrumental in advocating for the rights and welfare of persons with disabilities and I am confident that you will bring the same passion and commitment to your new position,” Bankole said.

“This appointment is not only a testament to your personal and professional accomplishments but also a significant step forward for the NCPWD.

“I look forward to seeing the positive impact of your leadership and the continued progress in advancing the rights and opportunities for persons with disabilities across the nation.

“I look forward to working with you to ensure that the rights and needs of persons with disabilities are prioritised and addressed.”
