APC governorship aspirant defects to PDP in Sokoto

Yusha’u Kebbe, one of those who contested for the governorship ticket of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Sokoto state, has defected to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Speaking to NAN on Monday, Kebbe said that he decided to join the PDP in order to achieve his objective in politics, adding that he would work towards ensuring the success of his new party during the forthcoming election.

“I joined politics to protect the interest of my people and for the development of my state,” he said.

“If I continue to stay in the APC the state will not develop according to our hopes and aspirations.”
