Uche Secondus (pictured left), acting national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has accused the All Progressives Congress (APC) of plotting to upturn the governorship election of Akwa Ibom state.
Secondus alleged that the Department of State Security (DSS) has become a tool in the hands of the federal government, saying the service had asked some of its personnel to give false testimonies at the tribunal.
The acting chairman expressed confidence in the judiciary, asking the people of the state to stand along with Udom Emmanuel, governor of the state.
“We have seen that the APC-led government is partial and partisan,” he told journalists in Uyo on Tuesday.

“Infact the DSS is an arm as of now of APC-led government and they want to forcefully takeover what belonged to PDP in Akwa Ibom State.
“They have arranged. They are saying all without fear and the rule of law that Akwa Ibom state is a most for them.
We will tell them with the collective efforts of the entire people of Akwa Ibom that you can’t take Akwa Ibom by force.
