The All Progressives Congress (APC) on Wednesday rescheduled its Bayelsa gubernatorial primary to September 22.
The primary was initially billed to hold on September 19.
In a statement in Abuja, Timi Frank, the party’s deputy national publicity secretary, said the time and the venue for the programme remain unchanged.
”I am directed to inform the Bayelsa state executive committee of the APC, all APC governorship aspirants and all our teaming members and supporters in the state that the governorship primary earlier scheduled for Saturday the 19th will now hold on Tuesday, Sept. 22,” the statement said .

”The venue and time for the exercise remain unchanged.”
The governorship election is due to hold on December 5.
