APC still best path to a greater Nigeria, Fayemi’s aide tells youths

Makinde Araoye, special adviser on federal matters to Kayode Fayemi, governor of Ekiti state, says the All Progressives Congress (APC) remains the best path to a greater Nigeria.

Araoye said Nigerians will soon start witnessing the positive effect of the APC’s policies in all strata of development.

Speaking during an empowerment programme that took place in Omuo-Ekiti, the aide said the social welfare interventions are modelled after the programmes and policies of Fayemi.

He appealed to the younger generation to join the APC so that they can use their population and passion to effect a positive change in the country.

“I started it in my ward in Ilawe-Ekiti, and then extended it to Ekiti South local government area, and hosted subsequent editions in Ikere, Ise/Orun, Emure, Gbonyin. Now it is the turn of Ekiti east,” he said.

“I thank all those who have supported me since this journey of humanitarian service began. From our party leaders to our traditional rulers, mothers, fathers, youths, students, the artisans, and all stakeholders who have continued to be our pillars of support.

“I salute you all. I also thank all my family, friends, and partners of the MKD Araoye Foundation for the sustained support – I am deeply grateful.

“I urge that we all continue in the task of building Ekiti state, because the government can not do it alone. It is our duty to contribute our own quota to the development of our homeland.

“I have a message for all the members of my generation here present: let me say very expressly to you that the panacea for a greater Nigeria lies in the hands of the All Progressives Congress. Very soon, Nigerians will start witnessing the positive effect of our policies in all strata of development.

“I therefore appeal to the younger generation to now — sorosoke. The future belongs to us. Please, join this progressive platform called APC so that we can use our population, energy and passion to effect a positive change. The time is now.”
