Abdulkarim Kana, national legal adviser of the All Progressives Congress (APC), says the party is yet to be served with the court order suspending Abdullahi Ganduje, national chairman.
On April 15, APC executives in Dawakin ward in Tofa LGA of Kano suspended Ganduje over alleged corruption.
Subsequently, the state working committee of the APC nullified the suspension and punished the ward executives.
However, a high court in Kano upheld the suspension of the former governor following an ex parte motion filed by one Ibrahim Sa’ad on behalf of executive members of the APC in Ganduje’s ward.

Speaking with reporters in Abuja on Wednesday, Kana insisted that those behind Ganduje’s suspension were not members of the party.
“We heard of the court order this afternoon, but we have not seen it. The individuals behind this are not APC members,” he said.
“They are also not members of the Kano state executive council of our party. We don’t know them.

“The party’s leadership has already petitioned the inspector-general of police on the matter.”
