APC wins 5 out of 6 local councils in Abuja

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has won in four out of six area councils in the federal capital territory (FCT) election.

The election, which held on April 9, was declared inconclusive in four area councils – Abuja Municipal, Kuje, Gwagwalada and Kwali – owing to electoral malpractices.

Subsequently, a supplementary election took place on Wednesday, and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) announced the results on Thursday.

It had earlier announced results of two councils – Abaji and Bwari.
