The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has revealed that it will cost N6 million to purchase a form for the upcoming governorship elections in Kogi and Bayelsa, as against the N1.5 million earlier announced.
Speaking with NAN in Abuja on Tuesday, Ifeanacho Ogbuejiofor, national director of publicity for the party, said the expression of interest form would cost N1 million, while the nomination form would be obtained at the cost of N5 million.
These figures, he explained, still represent a discount of 50 per cent compared to 2014 when expression of interest form went for N2 million and the nomination form N10 million.
The sale of the forms commenced on Monday, August 24, at the party’s national secretariat in Abuja.

Ogbuejiofor said the party’s primaries for the Kogi and Bayelsa governorship elections will be conducted on September 10 and September 25, respectively.
“The announcement of the date for primaries followed the recent release of time table for the elections in both states by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC),” he said.
He expressed readiness of the party to participate in the elections in both states, saying that the party will ensure that it fields credible candidates for the contest.
