APPLY: CEOs Network Africa seeks entries for under-30 entrepreneur awards

The CEOs Network Africa, a gathering of business leaders from across the continent, has called for nominations for this year’s edition of its under-30 CEO awards.

In a statement issued by the organisation over the weekend, the award for young entrepreneurs is scheduled to take place in December 2022.

The CEOs Network Africa, a multidisciplinary networking hub for young leaders, was founded as a social company to support young people on their path to entrepreneurship by providing specialised training, yearly awards, networking opportunities, and mentorship opportunities.

“It is a network of over 17,000 registered young African business leaders with the primary goal of identifying and building capacity of members within the network, inspiring the next generation and showcasing innovation and creativity,” the statement reads.

The Under 30 CEOs award 2022 “seeks to recognise excellence, innovations and service amongst young entrepreneurs under the age of 30″.

“Since its commencement in 2019, the award has decorated over 100 young African entrepreneurs in different categories ranging from finance, technology, agriculture, and politics, inspiring youths in different entrepreneurial space who have achieved distinction against economy barriers and setbacks,” the organisation added.

Alli-Bob Cinwon, president and founder of CEOs Network, in his remarks, said the focus is to empower and inspire young business owners.

“As usual, we are looking forward to a large number of nominations for this year’s edition,” he added.

“The search continues for encouraging promising entrepreneurs, and CEOs Network Africa is proud to propel the drive for positive change in the whole of Africa.”

This year’s award cuts across 30 categories ranging from agriculture, food and catering, politics and governance, technology and finance, real estate.

Those that qualify must have made a significant contribution within the past year, have conveniently accessible documentation of their accomplishments, and be younger than 30.
