The Destiny Trust (TDT) in collaboration with Henry Chijioke Ofili Foundation, has invited Nigerian students in fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) to apply for a scholarship.
The scholarship covers tuition fees, faculty/departmental fees, university hall/hostel accommodation and books.
It is open to undergraduates between the ages of 16 and 25 currently studying a STEM course in a Nigerian public university, and young school leavers who have satisfied JAMB and university requirements for admission.
In a statement on Friday Athina Jeje, TDT’s chief operating officer, said the scholarship is part of efforts to support young persons “who demonstrate exceptional academic and leadership potential but are financially disadvantaged”.

Jeje added that applicants must be exceptional in academics, must show “convincing evidence of leadership and community service experience” as well as “verifiable evidence of lack of means or economic disadvantage”.

“The family-run Foundation has established the scholarship endowment which is administered by The Destiny Trust in line with a mutual commitment to empower the next generation of STEM talents to attain their best potential and make a sustainable impact on their communities.
